Sakuma Avis Booms
A classic design of paternoster boom which is tough and streamlined. Very popular from the beach where they can be particuarly effective for whiting and flatties, but also good for making light boat paternoster rigs for whiting and bream. The Sakuma Avis boom is simple to use. Just slide it onto the rig body and fasten in place by placing a stop either side of the boom. You can either use fixed stops or moveable stops which allow you to alter the position of the booms on the trace. As the Avis boom is free to rotate on the trace it resists tangles and always lies correctly in the tide. Available in three colours; clear, black and red.
